About the Artist
Sarah’s quest is to create a conversation piece that redefines the term accessory, and stretches the imagination.
Sarah Catherine Forsythe is a designer, metalsmith, and educator, based out of Chicago. She studied jewelry making and studio art at The University of Iowa.
She creates sculptural jewelry that makes a statement and is easy to wear every day. She likes to discover what’s possible through manipulation of metals, leather, and pearls. Her jewelry is hand crafted using metalsmithing techniques such as forging, piercing, soldering, hammering, riveting and more. By creating in this process, no pieces are exactly alike guaranteeing a one of a kind work of art.
